Aims: To promote the cavy fancy within Australia; to act as the co-ordinating body for Members and their affiliated clubs; to set standards and rules in all matters pertaining to the showing of cavies at National Shows; to set standards for the judging of cavies throughout Australia by members and their affiliated clubs; and to provide information and advice on all matters pertaining to cavies.

Serving the Canberra/Queanbeyan and regional southern NSW area. Our Aims: To upgrade the status of Cavies generally; to breed good quality Cavies to the Australian National Cavy Club standards; and to provide information to the public concerning the nature and care of Cavies."

Our mission statement and aims are to promote and foster the friendship, knowledge and responsible care that is associated with breeding and exhibiting pedigree cavies within Australia. We also endeavour to promote and encourage the discussion of accurate, relevant information on all facets of owning cavies which includes responsible cavy care/breeding/exhibiting and welfare. Please note however we do not promote or endorse the deliberate breeding of Pet quality cavies, nor do we support, endorse or promote "backyard breeders" or "Petlinkers".
